Description: This course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed to perform in the role of Fireline Medic. Topics include position overview; supplies and equipment; assignments; lessons learned; Medical Unit Leader expectations; communications; documentation; navigation; safety; and medical emergencies specific to the wildland arena.

Prerequisites: Qualified Firefighter Type 1 (FFT1), Current California EMT certification or Paramedic license, Current Local EMS Agency certification, Basic ICS (I-200), NRF: An Introduction (IS-800).

Refund Policy: Entire $150.00 payment becomes non-refundable after the first day of the class.
